Hey all

I just moved to Taipei and I heard there are some amazing climbing around here. I have all my gear , trad and sport but nobody to climb with .

Anybody needs a an extra partner let me know....

English speaking would be usefull tho

Hi Francis,
Welcome to Taiwan.
(I know it's kind of late for response, but...)
There are some climbing gyms where you can easily find people to climb with.
Such as Y17:

Where you can meet lots of English spoken climbers.
I hope you've found your way on some good rock in Taiwan.
How long are you going to stay,BTW?

Hi there Orange Juice,

First up, I see that your message was posted in Oct 2006, so I am not sure if you have already found a climbing place or are you still looking. But basically, whereabouts are you situated? In Taipei itself, you have at least 2 indoor climbing gyms you can go to, one at Bei Tou (MRT Shi Pai Station) and the other one is at Y17 near the Chang Kai Shiek Memorial Hall.
